So I'm trying to claim my free games, but I can't. You see, I am getting that particular error code when I'm trying to go to the section. I know the servers must be busy, but could anyone please shed some light on this? EDIT: Okay, here's something that's really messed up. I tried to claim my 1st free game, got the error, and now it's gone from the section.

Try doing this

  1. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
  2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
  3. Choose "PlayStation Network Promotions" from the list of services displayed
  4. Select either "PS3 Free Games" or "PSP Free Games" and then choose "Select Content"

Actually I was just reading about that while editing the above post. Will try now. EDIT: Nope, same error code when accessing the list. EDIT 2: Success! After trying multiple times.

There's a metric poop ton of people trying to download the free games all at once (and some of the games are rather large) so it's really not surprising they are running into issues with the sheer amount of traffic on their servers right now.
