AgentH views in Rising *UPDATE 2....holy crap PC?*

"Hey guys, I just wanted to share my latest thoughts on what Kojima announced at the other press conference. Rising whatever that is could be an exclusive for them however I have some points concerning that title that I'd like to point out:

1) It's not MGS5
2) It's not a STEALTH game(not TACTICAL ESPIONAGE ACTION) watch trailer
3) You will be playing as Cyborg Raiden
4) Story might be canon and might be set between MGS2 and MGS4(Raiden's mission to rescue Sunny
5) The gameplay will be similar to Devil May Cry if I'm not mistaking thanks to Cyborg suit
6) Remember, Kojima said on that stage that it will be a NEW METAL GEAR experience and by that I think he means the gameplay and that it won't feature stealth
7) Story MAY NOT be related to the Metal Gear franchise that we know

Enough with Rising. Moving on to PLAYSTATION and the real deal:

1) Kojima is STILL playing mind games with us as we speak
2) The teaser site might be teasing 2 METAL GEAR games at the same time. 1 for each platform.
3) Big Boss might be ours since they got Raiden.
4) Might be called "Metal Gear Solid 5"
5) Definitely EXCLUSIVE

WHY??? because a SONY representative confirmed that a NON-MULTIPLATFORM game from Kojima is going to be announced at their press conference tomorrow and if you think HIDEO KOJIMA is going to let go Metal Gear's exclusivity to another game then you are mistaken. He will not announce a new EXCLUSIVE title and announce a multiplatform MGS5 because it just doesn't make any sense.

Suggestions in the mean time:

Wait until the countdown on that site goes zero and let's see what happens. I am sure KOJIMA won't let us down and that he wants to make everyone happy on both sides but guess what? We might be getting the goods and the real deal instead. MGS5 hopefully will be announced at Sony's Press Conference EXCLUSIVELY for PS3.

So yeah that's what he has to say about this, and I agree with him. This way Xbox fans won't be complaining and wanting MGS series in their consoles (The main series, which is still ours). This way they get a new series, much, much more suited to their tastes and we get to keep the Masterpiece, the story of Solid and Big Boss.

Actually .. UK IGN says it is .. and UK IGN says it isn't .. they are contradicting themselves ..

MGSR is not Exlcusive, M$ would emphasize that if it was and Kojima never said it was either so I think it's either timed OR will be multiplat from day one. As for the Big Boss thing it could just be a switch off they get MGSR we get MGS with big boss who knows, but we'll see.

The link I posted in the main posted, is a podcast hinting that Rising is just a warm up the bigger stuff if yet to come! This means either 2 things : Nintendo getting MG or Sony getting more MG love.

yeah exactly. of course kojima would give the 360 the stripped down version of mgs. duh. doesnt mean mgs fans (aka ps3 fans) dont want on that though.

also i really don't think they'd put so much hype into another big boss psp game, the hype made was for big boss's return.

doesnt really matter to me. when the teaser started i just wanted a raiden game. and i'm getting a psp.

remember that it was announced that ps3 gets a konami exclusive.

I would rather MGSR be a timed exclusive, let it start on x360 and pc, After that we'd get a game using more of the PS3 potential. Maybe MGSR: Subrising :) or sub-whatever.

Maybe it's a MGS game for PSP which I will be happy for, and the exclusive Konami PS3 game will be a new Zone of the Enders. One can dream.

I sure it's MGS5. As painful as losing MGS exclusivity was (MGSR), I still think PS3 owners are the real winners since we get to play them all. Plus there's that "Mask" thing no one **** about. Plenty of reason to be excited.

...remember konami still has a ps3 exclusive coming. mgsr is a multi, theres a chance for a exclusive. but we still have that one announcement to wait for. if you look at the site. its very bare where it shows 'special konami' stuff. i would say enough for three games, and it still has a link to the mask.
