uhhh, my 40 gb is amazing bro! It plays GTA 4 perfect, no problems! Plus the 40gb are more Cooler and Quiet then the 60 gb and the 80gb, meaning alot lees freezing then the other 2 models! The only thing wrong is it's not Backwards Compatabile! But who cares to play last gen-games when theres Metal Gear solid 4 and GTA 4 man!

Trust me 40gb PS3 is amazing man! Go get one bro, no problems with it what so ever! I've owned it for 5 months now!

The 40 gig suites me just fine, since I don't really care about BC. Never had a problem with GTA 4 or any other games. And if it's memory you're worried about you can always replace the 40 gig with a 120 gig + HD for around 100$.

Really? I've heard no complaints with the 60GB. If anything, the 60GB is the rarest and most sought after PS3 because of its 100% backwards compatibility with the Emotion engine. I use to have the 40GB version and my PS3 would freeze out of no where and I would have to restart games. My 40GB wouldnt display on any TV using the composite cable. This could just be my 40GB PS3 that I use to own but I'm just telling you what happened. If you want to play PS1 and PS2 games, get the 60GB. If you dont care for that, get a 40GB or 80GB. I would recommend getting the MGS4 Bundle because that would be the best deal right now. Add up everything and compare the prices. You'll save almost $200 if you go with the MGS4 bundle as oppose to buying the 40GB and having to buy MGS4 and DualShock 3 controller separately. Not to mention, 40GB HDD difference and card slots that you wont get from the 40GB bundle. The 80GB can play 90% of the PS1/PS2 games and the quality varies..
