30 FPS Lock in The Last of Us PS4 Enables Better Shadows

Are you going to enable the option? I think I might just stick with 60 FPS.

i'd go back and forth just to see which setting seems better.

i seen some people stream this, i have pre-ordered it but when i watch the stream it doesnt look different, not sure if its just the stream taking up all the quality. i was expecting a bit more,will still love it, awesome game

Shadows? Unless they look like square blocks I will stick to 60 fps.

Played the game last night... I don't know if it was that particular segment in the game that the article was referencing or maybe the game wasn't done rendering but I noticed no pixelated shadows at any point during my first 2 hr segment at 60fps. After about an hour of playing, I switched to the 30fps lock setting and I couldn't adjust back to it. Once you get a taste of that buttery smoothness, it's hard to go back.

Most of the streams have downgraded the quality! The PS4 version isn't overwhelming different but there is definitely a noticeable one! It just looks and runs a lot smoother. For someone like myself it's a steal because I didn't buy it on the PS3, so the bonus content alone makes it more then worth it to me!
