just wondering.. i won't be using any homebrews or whatever and no videos... just music which i checked on iTunes is about 200MB... do you think 1GB is enough for me or should i go larger? I plan to go larger once the 2 or 4GB drop in price in a year or two

1 gb is going to be enough for you then.

You can always convert your songs to ATRAC format, thus saving space.

ATRAC format should allow almost twice as much songs.

naawww. go as big as you can. 1gb fills up really really quickly. I bought a 2gb card just for music and it is jam packed and I regret the descision to go with such a small card. I would be much better off with 4 or 8 gig card.

I bought a 2GB Memory Stick because my old 1GB wasn't enough for videos(I was planning for a bigger one, but I couldn't). Without videos, I don't think a bigger MS is needed since music files can be very small(Unless you really care about the quality)

I would recommend not going lower then a 2 Gig but that's your choice. I find myself using my PSP for more then just games and I am sure you want to take full advantage of your PSP also.

If all youre putting on it is music and gamesaves then yeah 1gb is fine. Thats probably enough room for almost 200 songs with enough room left over for all your game saves.

If you ever plan on videos, each movie is usually about 300mb per movie.

Get a Memory Stick that is as large as you can afford because you can never get more space; you can always have extra. I had a 1 GB stick for my PSP, but got a great deal for a 4 GB stick ($55). I use the 1 GB for my digital camera now. I can store PS One games, movies, music, photos, ANYTHING really...It's awesome.

1 GB is good though. It gives you flexibility. But...if you have a PS3 and buy PS One games off of the store, your 1 GB can fill up VERY fast.

it is for me.... it holds a 2 hour movie with a couple hundred megs left over. Though I basically use mine for saves and I have about 10-15 demos on it .... its a good size. Glad the slims are coming with a 1 GB card in the bundle.

It sounds like a small amount of space usedfor music; do you buy songs off of itunes individually? If you end up with even a small collection of CD's ripped on itunes down the road 1 GB might be a little restricting. I suggest at least 2 GB for future headroom combined with the fact that they are ultra cheap right now.

1GB isn't to bad for me atleast. I only own that, and the 32MB one. I have over 200 songs, and 1 game on the 1GB. But i'm down to 400MB left. I would advise to go bigger if you we're planning on putting more then 250-300 songs on it though. I had to reburn my MP3s to WMA format to conserve space, i'm justing waiting for the 4GB goes down in price.

His post is a year and a half old. I don't see the sense in resurrecting ancient threads.

That website was spamming here over the weekend. I wouldn't trust a website like that, you might get a fake.
