Vader993
then game now looks very light
I just watched it F man wtf is Guerrila thinking I don't want a run n gun game I hope this is just for the pre alpha phase
Might not even buy it now since its gonna be like every other fps bascially without the weight although some of the changes were good like the scope, bots etc.
wow, some folks will complain about anything. To heavy/ too light. how about just play the game to have fun, and if you don't: move on to another one
I thought KZ2 was fantastic, as was Modern Warfare 1 (2 was kinda weak). COD:WAW was good too...
it looks and plays so smooth, even smoother than kz2. and everythin is shaping up well. it looks like the weight is there but its not as heavy as its on kz2, maybe they just did that for now and will fix it later? so ppl can just jump in and play maybe?JoKeR_421
no i think 80 percent of the weight is gone to please the causals
I didn't like the weighted feel that much, but I still liked Killzone 2. I hope you don't have to aim down the sights all the time though. I like the fact that firing from the hip was accurate too.
Aiming down the sights seems to be cleared than in Killzone 2, which is good, cause I could never see anything.
info i got
A) Regular melee is in the game, not just brutal melee, meaning that brutal melee must be earned or something.
B) They have taken the amount of points down for brutal melee from 30 to 15, this should be taken down to 10, the amount of points for a headshot, but it's better than 30 by far.
C) The varied abilities look decent, sure "increased health" might be a little bad, but if it means swapping out bots, or other abilities that are useful, it's probably balanced, besides, it might be closer to 120 health than KZ2's 150.
D) The movement still looks perfectly "killzone-ish", might be a little faster, but that's not too bad.
E) It still takes a lot to down someone, looks like 5 bullets with the M-82, and one guy took 4 hits from the Sta-33(is that the LMG's name?), and hid away.
F) The crosshairs are smaller as standard, this encourages burst-fire hipfiring, so you can remain accurate by taking 2-3 shots at a time at people, making the gameplay more hipfire based.
G) The medic bot looks small, and I don't think it got a kill in the entire 12 minutes, so it's probably pretty weak.
The video does seem a pretty boring. The player doesn't know where the action is at(not his fault), the audio sounds terrible, and that guy telling them what to do in the background sounds bored as hell lol. I just can't wait to be playing this at my house, hope I get into kz3 beta like I did kz2!
