Will you be getting extended warranty?

Any one here planning on purchasing extended warranty for their playstation 4?

Going to see what the true failure rate is and make up my mind within the 30 day window.

If my fat PS3 can last almost 5 years now, then I'd hope a PS4 can easily last as long as that. I'll take my chances, unless there's a significant portion of people having issues with their console.

My launch PS3 is still running like a champ and I have had good luck in the past with consoles (knock on wood) so I will likely stay with just the 1 year from Sony. With that said, of course I'll be keeping an eye on things for the 30 day window.

Yes I got the 2 year from Gamestop. I have had only 1 incident with the GBA screen messing up but that was enough for me.

@zyxahn: how much us earrenty from gamestop? Do u take it to stotr ot mail it?

Yeah, but I was planning on doing so from the beginning, also did the same with my Vita. New tech is always hit or miss with reliability and Gamestop is usually good with their warranty.
