Will PS3 games play on PS4?

I am pretty curious if ps3 games will available on ps4. I mean if i have bought a ps3 disk can i play that on ps4?

no, the ps4 won't play ps3 discs. the best hope for backwards compatibility is that gaikai streaming will start picking up steam.

Unfortunately it does not... I guess I can't really complain though. The console would have probably been noticeably more expensive with that feature.

I wish it would feature backwards compatibility, but I can't see it happening in order to keep the cost as low as possible in order to compete.
