I cant be the only one who thought of this but with that Destiny/White PS4 bundle, what happens when you pre-order the game and your given a beta code?

You may not even have a PS4 yet, but you have a beta code for something you cant play, what happens then?

I would have pre-ordered the bundle, but no-one has been able to answer this one simple question.

You could sell the code on eBay, or give it to a friend.

Other than that, it's only useful to somebody who already owns a PS4.

Just great, they could have released a PS3 beta just for this scenario.

@GTR12: People who don't have a PS3 would end up in the same situation. :<

@GTR12: I'm not exactly sure where you think you would be able to get in on the beta without having a PS4 in the first place

You don't get it...

The white PS4 is out on the day destiny releases, and its a pre-order... if you pre-order destiny (just the game), your given a code irregardless of whether you have a PS4 or not, isn't it pointless that they give the code to white PS4 pre-orders?

I'd much rather they keep the code and give me $10 or whatever off the console/game bundle.

Bad information in this thread so let me clarify a bit.

The Beta code is sent once you pre-order your system. It is NOT only for the PS4 version. You enter the Beta Code on Bungie's website and then once the beta start you can choose which platform you want to play on.

Just to repeat that, platform selection hasn't started so all beta keys can be redeemed for any version regardless of what version of the game was purchased.
