I wouldn't be in too much of a rush. I got to 1 point near the beginning of the game and I can't go anywhere...literally. If I move to where I'm supposed to go the game locks up and crashes. I've heard of many problems like this in 3d dot game heroes.

I'm not sure where you are form but you won't get the patch if you don't live in the US.
Without a doubt you'll love this game if you're an old school zelda fan. This game just screams of The Legend of Zelda all in glorious 3D, with awesome 8-bit/modern music... doesn't get any better than that :)
I may be wrong, but didn't you in one of your posts say Demon Souls was boring too...?
I found DS boring as well. We dont all have the same taste in games you know...I did enjoy the hour of #d Dot Game Heroes I got to play. BTW I live in Canada and didn't get any patch. Granted I haven't put it in my ps3 for a few months either. I got too pissed about it being unplayable to even want to bother with it anymore.

You misread..... I was stating he said Demon Souls was boring and I thought it was fun, I'm not forcing people to like Demon Souls.... Yea I live in Canada too, but I remember everyone saying FO3 was unplayable then it turned out perfect, I'm very lucky with these things, none of my things break or get bugged and such....
I don't know what this lock up is. I bought the game on May 20th 2010 and have had a few freezes. When entering a dungeon from the over world, it gets stuck when it loads. It only happened like 3 times throughout the whole game. I say go for it. The game's initial prices was already 20 dollars cheaper than other games and i am sure you could find it for even cheaper now. I live in America so I don't know the prices of games. I think the number is only a difference of 10. Games cost 60 dollars here brand new and 70 in canada I think. I assume that since 3D dot was 40 dollars brand new here, then it must have been 50 dollars up there. I don't know what a good price would be for the game. If I were to rate it, I would give it an 8 out of 10. It is great, it is like Legend of zelda a link to the past and the original one on the NES. It does have its own twists like the sword growing bigger when you are at full health. The game might be a little on the short side if you just play the main quest, but it is a considerable length and you should explore places anyway to find better items.
There are some pretty awesome Demon's Souls references in 3D Dot Game Heroes, since it's made by Atlus as well ... It's really fun if you have the time to play it ... you can get through the first 3 or 4 castle's quite easily, but there are certain side quests you may have to look up that will help out :-) It's a REALLY fun game

Ugh, not again. FROM SOFTWARE made Demon's Souls and 3D Dot game Heroes, ATLUS DID NOT! Uh, okay since that's over.... I really want to get 3ddgh as well, but it is pretty non-existent here in the UK.
Hey buddy, I loved Zelda and thought that this game was as automatic as it gets for me loving it. I played it for a few days and made some progress, but it grew tiresome and it was all a bit too familiar, to the point of plagiarism. Try before you buy, I guess is what I'm saying.
