I'm hoping that I can find the current one at a cheaper price.  If not, paying full price for the better OLED screen sounds like the way to go for me.

The larger battery is the only plus I see this new Vita having over the original. Who is going to buy this version of a system just for that? Especially when you consider the OLED screen of the original this is even more puzzling. It's not like the Vita isn't slim or light as it is. I don't understand why they felt the need to make it slimmer. I feel like any slimmer and it's going to feel more uncomfortable.

Saying Vita 2000 makes it seem like an upgrade but this looks like a downgrade on paper. I'll talke an OLED screen over an extra hour of batery life any day. Is the new version cheaper or is there something I'm missing?

the only good thing about the new Vita is the extra battery life, but that can be solved easily with the original Vita. All you need is that Portable Battery Pack that Sony released for the Vita, it will give a much longer battery life than just 1 hour

More interested in the 64GB card. No Western release date was confirmed for any of it but I suspect Oct-Nov.

I'm sticking my original, but I'd totally get white if this were my first time getting a Vita.

But I want that 64gb memory card... hopefully for a reasonable price. It'll probably be 100 bucks though, which would suck.

When this releases in the US, you know the older model will get phased out, and the only way you'll be able to get an original Vita will be secondhand.  So for those complaining about the screen, buy one now while you can one new.

The Red PSvita 2000. Or White. would be nice. Even soft pink or whatever Sony calls it. Grey would be good. But I think Sony is just going to release it in Black and white in North America. So no Red,Pink,Grey or Blue for North America.

So looks like Black for me.
