honestly, one of the best ive seen for the price was the Westinghouse, they are a subsidary or owned by(cant remember)toshiba, they have been doing TV's for years, and make a quality tv for the buck.

You got to tell us how much you want to spend as the best LCD under 32inches can still cost a lot. And PC LCDs around 24-27inches are not cheap either, and need to be HDCP compliant, but would do 1080p if it met all that.

samsung makes a great TV, if you can afford em, i would get it. but if your on a budget, i would do a westinghouse. if you want one with the quality of the samsung, but a little lower price, LG makes a great TV, i have their 32" LCD, and its great, about $200 less than the equivelent samsung, and the sound is astounding on it, the surround sound on it tricked me for about 10min. of thinking kids were playing outside my room when i was playing Tony Hawk, it was driving me nuts till i figured out it was the TV's build in surround sound. its got 30 watt speakers in the model i have, and they sound great. just depends on what your budget is
