Well lads,

Just wondering if any of you guys place your consoles on glass or wooden surfaces? I currently have mine on a glass surface with plenty of airflow all around.

Can you confirm if glass surfaces are okay to operate the PS4.

Thanks.

Glass is fine. Actually, probably one of the best surfaces you could use since it is so smooth and easy to dust

It really doesn´t matter, just purchase 4 erasers and place one under each corner of you console to rise it a little bit to increase the airflow.

that's a good surface, wood is fine and even like me shoved on a carpet standing up right, it works fine, but yes glass is probably the best, glass allows heat to pass through it, same how windows work and you can buy single glazed which allows heat to escape and is not great for windows, or double glazing which uses a method to try and trap heat from escaping, so a nice single glass shelf unit or stand are at the top for great air flow
