My Tritton AX PROs finally broke and I'm looking for a new gaming headset. I wasn't too thrilled with the Trittons, so I'm going for a new brand.

I'm trying to stay <$100 which has led me to PX22s and Sony Gold. I've had people praise one and diminish the other.

What are your opinions on these two? Or would you recommend a different pair for <$100?

My main use is for SnD in COD. Knowing whats behind me and how far is important. Other audio quality is important but less so.

I'd love some A50s but I don't want to pony up that kind of cash. If you had to spend $100 or less retail, what would you be stuck with?

The Gold Wireless Stereo Headset is good for the price. I have nothing to compare them to and little knowledge of headsets, but they're comfortable and the sound is great. I don't know about the mic quality since I don't use it, but I hear it's one of the only weaker aspects of the headsets.
