Soo Whos getting BL: the Pre-Sequel next week?

Im curious, Is Anyone picking up Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel when it releases or are you guys gonna wait for the inevitable "Game of the year edition" with all the added DLC on disc?

As for me i usually wait for the GOTY editions before i make a purchase because i like owning the "Complete" game, but the wait is sooo long so i might just break that habit and pick up the base game on release next week..i just hope people on my friends list get the game too seeing as how my PS3 friends list is a ghost town now that they all moved on up to the PS4 -__-

I probably will, though I won't get any DLC this time around. I enjoy the BL games but the way they do DLC is just fucked. What's the point of having a season pass if you're not going to include everything in it?

BL2 was a deeply flawed game in many respects but I still loved it (past tense). I've played thru so many tedious run thrus that I really just can't enjoy the game anymore. I sincerely hope 2K Australia has learned from Gearbox's mistakes.

I've preordered it thru Amazon to arrive release day. I'm holding off on the season pass though this time. I'm still kind of mad that I have to hold on to my PS3 a while longer.

Why couldn't it have been cross gen like most launch year games?

Me I love Borderlands. Sure I will eventually get the GOTY edition when it drops in price, but I'm not going to wait that long to play the Pre-Sequel. I will be there Monday night, or Tuesday morning picking up my copy. It's really one of the few must have games for me this year.

It's being made by 2K Australia so might not suck. Gearbox is too busy with their amateurish looking and destined to fail Battleborn.

Actually Gearbox also had a hand in making the pre sequel.

It would appear you are right, but their influence seems minimal in the gameplay and balancing departments.

You're not being objective.... the DLC in the Season Pass is exactly what they promised and didn't actually intend to do anymore than that... but b/c people were receiving the DLC they provided so well.... they decided to keep it going and offer more to those that wanted it.

BL2 alone was worth the asking price... the DLC was mostly very good... you really have no reason to complain.

If you want to complain about DLC... then do so towards companies that are straight up trying to rip gamers off... *cough* Bungie / Activision *cough*

@whatsazerg: well borderlands 2 was about as deep into the shit-fest that is dlc as I will go. when I see a season pass pop up on steam at the same time as the pre-order for the main game I don't need anyone to tell me which way the shit winds blow.
