So no 3D PS4 games in the works?

PS3 started off the new console with 3D ready games, looks like it ended with the PS3 as well. Now that the PS4 supports 3D blu-ray movies I had hoped some of the games would have 3D ready updates, I know many see 3D as a gimmick, but I like the effects, certain games look really good in 3D.

Or is there any plans to release 3D PS4 games in the future that someone had heard? I'm doubting it, but would be nice, also the PS4 version of Netflix needs a 3D movie section like my smart Blu-ray Netflix has.

I think it's a hard sell

3D hurts overall visual fidelity. Since people are trying to maximize the hardware (especially when it's new to show that "WOW" factor) it's difficult to have a dev purposely water down their work.

3D movies look worse but the ones that do 3D can get away with the gimmick because movies aren't new.

it's a shame for Sony and Microsoft lacking 3D support on their new consoles/platforms for whatever technical reason. It's clearly a step back!

I think it is just pointless and annoying

I thought the 3D fad had already gone. I'm surprised movies are still being done in 3D.
