Sign In Issues not related to PSN up/down?

I haven't been able to sign into my PSN for weeks. Everytime I get a message saying 

but when I go to my network options my home wifi is there at max-nearly max strength. Everything always works when I check the connection but I cannot sign in. Anybody know what this is?

Check your NAT type settings? I remember I had connection but had the hardest connecting to the internet when I had NAT type 3
