2.3/10.... You could of gotten the KDL-32S2000 for the same price and had twice the picture quality. Also the sound setup is basically nonexistent. Not bad for a start though.1/10
Seriously you should save up ome $$$ for a quality HDTV.
The PS3 deserves better:wink:

I'd imagine everyone else is using Optical Cables and Hdmi as hookups, whats your setup look like and what equipment do you have?all those set ups are terrible. I'm playin on a 51" HDTV with 5.1 surround sound hooked up with fiber optic cables and HDMI. i dont know what could be better

If you are not running your sound through HDMI yet, you are truly missing out.all those set ups are terrible. KDL32S2000 is not even better than that Samsung bro.BlacKJaCK2290Actually it is. I am ISF certified and have tested both. The LNS series from Samsung is a fairly awful LCD. The colors are way off, mostly green. The DNie processing totally ruins the image and is non-defeatable. The contrast ratio is around 700:1 which is pretty damn far off what they state on the box. The Sony on the other hand is extremely accurate, and has none of the severe flaws of the Sammy.

But i was able to see them side by side with the new Sonys and i thought the Samsung looked better. To each his own i guess, i'd argue with you but your ISF certified so you know what your talking about lol.

same here, only my tv's a 57". I've got the HDMI video and audio going to the tv, then the tv has an audio out that is a fiber optic cable running up to a Yamaha HTR-5940. then out to my horse manure speakers for now, but im slowly but surely upgrading my current 6.1 system to klipsch speakers. when i bought the receiver i got a nice used infinity 8" powered sub to go with it. the other speakers are just some phillips boxed set i got like, 3 years ago.

You really should upgrade your receiver as it is fairly low end. Yamaha makes some good options that support uncompressed PCM through HDMI instead of being stuck with compressed audio like you are now.1/10

what i got, plus the sub, plus 3 other speakers behind me. I had to take the backing off the entertainment center on the left side, where the ps3 and receiver are so it doesnt get too hot. i've got some new backers in the garage to allow for the heat i just have to put them on.

[QUOTE="Radiozo"]Sorry for the crappy pic. Mine looks like thisNow that's a nice setup. That is a great performing tv, too bad you have it partnered with a HTIB. 3.2/10
WARRZONE
Mines not a HTIB :D BlacKJaCK2290I can not see the receiver in the picture clearly enough, but the speakers might as well be out of a HTIB box. What model receiver and speakers are they anyway?
The Receiver is a Yamaha HTR5940. The speakers are Infinity TSS450 speaker package. Based on the size of my room i don't need tower speakers. BlacKJaCK2290Ah, I was basically right. That is a decent budget receiver for the time being but it is almost always a bad idea to buy a box of speakers. Usually any speaker worth buying is sold in pairs and you can sometimes get a package deal. Whenever a bunch of speakers are bundled together it is almost always a good idea to turn away. You should look into upgrading the speakers to some higher quality bookshelf speakers. The Onix x-ls/x-cs line from www.av123.com would be a great budget choice and would increase your experience tenfold.
