Basically, I've thrown my controller and the now R2 button ius stuck. Are there any ways I can (for use of a better word) 'unstick' the controller?
Thanks for all your tips

Put it this way... I am never playing one of them one hit kill games on Resistance again, man that really p***** me off.
Any tips, this is killing me - I was supposed to be meeting up with a few of my school mates today on Resistance to find the R2 button is stuck.

How can they make something as irritating as one hit kill games and NOT design the controllers to withstand beatings.
I blame the wireless, the controller flies miles now (never did do before, with the good old classic cable).

Dont force it! fiddle around with it, if that doesnt work i suggest you gently unscrew the right side form the top n budge it open a bit

Well, I've already tried forcing it and when it clicked back in place I was jumping for joy... unfortunatly it still feel kind of odd (like when you press the button it doesn't go as far 'down' as the L2 button). And it still doesn't work.
I'm gonna unscrew it tomorrow, see if that helps. If not onwards and forwards to Blockbuster where I shall get a replacement controller... which will last me another couple of months. Man, I've really got to stop playing one-hit-kill games.
It's a controller not a M4 assault rifle dude, you have to be gentle with it. It made to be used roughly but not abused.iMacBot
Nothing about the Ps3 controller is meant to be used rough. It feels like i could snap it into with my hands.
I'm sure this is an instance where Sony's boomerang shaped controller might have come in handy. ;)SwiftRyuu
Probably would have ended up breaking the R2 button and getting the controller stuck in my eye.

I wish it DID snap in half... at least that way it would LOOK broken (you can't see the jamminess of the button when looking at it).

Yea, only the boomerang controllerwas
Sometimes when I play R6:V, I feel like throwing my control too but...I can control my anger. When you tap and shoot them right on and they don't die - they shoot back at you and kills you in 1 shot = Control Throwing. I don't know how to get the R2 button unstuck, only way is to open it carefully or if you still have warranty on it, you can call Sony.
