psvita 2000 or 1000

should i wait for the new one or get the old one before they run out cuz i heard that the 1000 screen is good at first but after some time it becomes dim

"The old one" for the win.

As an owner of the "old one", I'd say go for it. they're the same price and you're getting a better resolution with OLED screen.

I have to agree with everyone else and suggest you consider a look at the OLED display on the first vita model. It's very nice to look at. But you'll also need a good memory card. With the 8gb i got, my card filled up pretty quickly. I recommend a 16gb or maybe a 32gb card if your going to be a plus member.

I would check them both out. The slim has some pretty good advantages like it has a micro usb port which is so much more convenient for charging. It's also thinner and they did change the buttons and overall feel. It does have an extra hour of battery life (so they say). The major disadvantage is that it lacks an OLED screen which really shows colors well. But the LCD won't be too bad, like similar to the 3DS.
