PS4 Region game compatibility (Help!)

Hi all,

I have a dilemma, I'm on holiday here in the USA but I am from the UK. As well as this, my PS4 is also a British system. Whilst here I n America, I have noticed that the games are much cheaper then back home. I was wondering if these US games are compatible with a UK system?

PS4 games are region free, but some googling suggests that DLC is locked to the region of the game - so if you buy a NA copy of a game and want the DLC later then you'll need to download the NA DLC (which I think will involve creating a US PSN account). So, you should be ok to go, but might be some quirks in some scenarios.

@xantufrog: Thanks for the info! I'm planning on buying GTA V so I shouldn't have any DLC issues.
