The PS3's power supply had no regions and could work in both US and EU regardless of where it was purchased. Do we have any info regarding the PS4?

This will continue to be the same. While the PS4 will be region free for disc based Blu Ray games. The actual power supply plug in will not be compatible between regions. So Europe/Asia/Oceania/NorthAmemrica/South America/South Africa/Russia/Middle East

Will continue to use power supplies made for their countries power grid. The prongs voltage etc will not change for just on electronic device. Even the Playstation 4 as great as it is.

You will have to get an adpater and a stepdown/step up voltage converter to use a North American PS4 in Japan etc.

Wait, so you mean they're no longer all-voltage compatible? :(

My US PS3-slim works in UK; no voltage step down, just a plug-addon.

Hi, I just contacted Amazon and they confirmed that PS4 will have universal power ratings. which means they will be multi-voltage like the PS3
