IF this is your initial setup, you need to go into the system setup and configure it so that it uses wireless instead of ethernet (defualt). It will then scan for signals, and then let you input your WEP key and test the connection.
my router is right by my ps3 so its no big deal to run it through ethrenet but its being stupidBonesNFG
By router do you mean Cable Modem? Because I was having problems running it directly from my Cable Modem to my PS3 so I bought a cheap little ****** router and that solved it.
