PS3 Not working with RF Modulator

We just inherited a giant screen older tv. (And i mean giant!!) Since its still pretty bad ass we wanted to hook it up to our PS3.

We bought an RF Modulator to connect the PS3 to the tv. All I get is static on the tv. :( There are the red, yellow & white components on the back of the tv but they wont work with the PS3.

I even tried to hold down the power button on the PS3 until it beeped twice & still nothing. The wii hooks up just fine and works great. But I want my PS3 to work.. Any suggestions? Oh, its an RCA tv if that helps.

Please check that the RF modulator and TV channel are on the same channel. You must do a video reset and TV are on the same channel.
