PS3, Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Keyboard Not Working

Hey, I got a new keyboard for my PS3 the other day. It works while in the main PS3 screen, but when I launch NFS, the keyboard does not work or respond with this game. Any ideas? Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks.

Any ideas? It's working for my other games, but not NFS. Google hasn't been much help.
