I was wondering what cables come with the ps3. Reason I'm asking is because I have an older tv. It doesn't have HD, and it doesn't progressive scan, and it can't suppose the cables with the green and blue.

I just want to know if I buy a ps3, if I can even use it. I'm not buying a new tv for a system :(

Please have a good answer for me :) Thanks!

in the box it comes with the standard yellow red and white RCA cables, so you should be fine.

Ah nice! Thanks. I heard a friend say that they didn't come with that, and I gotta be honest. I was pissed that I would have had to buy a new tv just for that. Thanks for the good news.

What your friend meant was that it does not come with component cables (the red, green, blue) or hdmi. It only comes with your standard red, white, and yellow cables for SDTV

I do have a 1080p tv and that's the way I prefer to play.  But I have played on a regular tv quite a bit and it still looks great.Â
