PS3 Box Design: Changed Again?

To make PS3 games line up next to PS4 games with a higher aesthetic quality on your shelves, Sony is changing the PS3 box design. This is actually the third time the style has been changed.

What do you guys think?

Well, my collection already looks inconsistent since I have a good handful of older games, so why not I guess.

I think the first change was for the best but changing it again now is stupid now that the PS4 is out.

Ideally I don't think they should change the box art AT ALL during the life of a system. It's confusing and hurts marketing/branding.

Yeah, some people might go and buy a game thinking it's a new PS4 title, then they get home to see it's just an old PS3 game. Not everyone follows gaming news and stuff.

I honestly hated Sony for changing the box art in the first play, I may have OCD or something but I'm a collector and I love showing them off, but I hated the style they did and it didn't match up hafl the time on the shelf it's so annoying when you want to put them in genre sections or in alphabetical order when they change the box, it's annoying. lol

Blu-rays are annoying to with there box art esp collections, can companies just stick to the same design, half of them don't match up with the writting to the next one and it's annoying, change the front by all means but the sides should be the same esp in a collection more than anything lol

I like the PS4 side, I'm hoping they stick with it through out.

Don't even see the point in changing the PS3 covers when the PS4 is out. The first change in the covers back in 2009 was the best but this is just dumb and pointless when the system is about to be dead next year.

PS3 will not be dead next year.

But everyone knows how to read..it clearly says "PS3" on the cover.

I still believe that there might be mistakes with almost identical box designs.

They should have just kept the old look. It divides the unique looks and creates confusion.

I loved the first artstyle with the spiderman font coming down the side of the case, looked awesome.

The only thing I don't like about this is that it will look strange when there's a couple blue games in my collection that aren't with all of the PS3 games.

This. Anyone with a decent collection will have inconsistency in multitudes.

Damn ! Look at the legs on her. And then I see Tecmo written on the bottom left and it all makes sense.

What the hell is this game about anyways ?

I googled the game, Deception IV. And boy does it sound like a **** load of fun. If there was ever a game that needs local co-op, its this. Shouldve been on the Wii U !
