It looks like crud. Does connecting a composite cable to it help clear up the picture any?

I use component cables on my PS2 and it still looks like dung. The only games that look alright would be games that are Progressive Scan compatibility.

Composite cables wont do jack shit. Component cables however might make a slight difference, it does for me. Some HDTVs have better image quality at lower resolutions. So that probably makes a difference.

Component cables are a huge upgrade over composite cables. Composite cables look like garbage with an HDTV. PS2 with composite cables are pretty much unplayable with hdtv.

Definetely go witb Component Cable.......Composite is just too unbearable....

If you do not have Component outlets...just stick with S Video Cables....
