PS1 games on the Vita

Want to buy Final Fantasy IX for the Vita. Just wondering how the PS1 games function on the Vita. I know that it is emulated so can we change the resolution and texture filtering? Or does it just play at PS1 native resolution.

I think this should answer your questions. Options like bilinear filtering and color spacing are available when playing PSP games though.

I don't really like it.

When you put the screen size on normal everything is just too small to see.On the other hand full stretches the image and makes it looks like ass.

If i were you i would play it on the ps3.

can i buy the game once and download for both vita and ps3 or should i buy separately for both?

I have quite a lot of PS games on my PSPGO and Vita, you buy them once and they play on both PS3 and or PSP/Vita. When you buy them via PSN it shows up as purchased on Vita then you can just download the games etc.

You buy the game once, then you can download it on both Vita & PS3.
