I just bought the Vita last week and i was wondering with the PS classics on the PSN can you use both analog sticks for the controls or are you stuck with the psp controls.

You can use the right analog it gives you the option to bind it to any other button.

you're thinking about psp games. PS1 games that supported dualshock can use the second analog

When playing a ps one classic press and hold the screen and you will be given a list of options. Go to "other" and you can set most games to the sticks by switching it to analog mode.

Is it possible to change the L2R2 to other buttons instead? I am only playing ffvii at the moment so dont need to, but i am planning to get other psclassics which require the use of those buttons.

Couldn't you just look at your available options in FFVII and see whether the buttons are remappable? :S
