PlayStation Network Still Down[UPDATE]

Every one is wandering whats going on and when will every thing be back up ? well no one have the answer even Sony do not know when this will be fixed. All we no is to keep refreshing their twitter and see if they have any update for us.

I don't know what they can do, really, except allocate more resources to make the servers more robust. I was reading about DDOS attacks yesterday and it doesn't seem trivial to deal with (assuming the method of the DDOS attack is sophisticated)

I'm online right now. I know there were problems though.

I still can't sign in on PS4. Been trying all day.

I am i PS4 player.... and i know that all of the server are down right now. I have done every thing to get it to work and then realize its all on sony right now

netflix and such still work, but can't access PSN store or play online PS4 games, status shows offline still.

I couldn't get online with the PS4, but no online issues with the PS3.

i signed into the psn store little while ago at my brothers. but the redemption site is still down so i cant DL my game on my console yet

You guys should have been there for the big PSN and XLive outage that started in the 1970's. Went all the way to 2001! Now THAT was an outage.

The problem is if you increase bandwidth, they can just flood you with even more data and still crash your network. There really isnt much you can do against Ddos attacks.

My son asked me to give him a 20 dollars PS card for his birthday today, guess what ? couldn´t purchase it because it couldn´t be activated by the cashier, can´t link the machine with Sony´s servers. So my son will have to wait for his birthday present, what a bummer !

PSN is still down for me, I live in Australia and most people say it's up. But for me it's not, can't play Destiny online, can anyone confirm if it's still down for them?

Im able to log in and do everything. Every once in a while, I get an error code but it works afterwards.

Where are you in Aus? Melbourne here and its fine from since 9am 28th, try a power-cycle of router/modem.

PSN still down even though Sony is reporting the ps4 is online. I'm starting to get super pissed. Get ur $hit together sony

Third day for me and I still can't connect. Really Sony? Fucking pathetic.

One thing I am certain of is that I won't be renewing my PS+ once it runs out. I don't like paying for a service that isn't even provided.

I can sign in and it goes through the update profile/security stuff then at the end it's suppose to send a verification email... but doesn't...
