im sorry, but it didn't look all that great. i was a huge fan of all the previous tekken games, but from what i was looking at it just looks like a graphical upgrade. I think if they really want to make an amazing game they need to incorporate an amazing physics engine to allow for realistic throws, jumps, and overall destruction. But i guess only time will tell if they choose to incorporate this or just do a graphical update.
Looked good, but nothing special. I don't have a ps3 and I don't plan on getting one, but the Tekken series has been my favourite 3D fighting game. Be interesting to see the reviews on it and if they take advantage of the blue ray's disk space.
WIth all the hype I expected nothing but jaw dropping visuals, it looks like VF 5. It doesn't even look as good as VF 5pimperjones
Okay ENOUGH with the VF5. Obviously you're a VF5 fan. Nothing wrong with that, it's a great game, but we're not comparing anything since it's still an early build. Now as for the movie, it IS better than that 21 second trailer which they modeled characters out of the PS2, yet I don't get who that "LEO" is. Guy or Chick? I mean c'mon I couldn't tell!!! And is Zafina a daughter of a Mishima? I hope it's like...Kazuyas' estranged daughter or...something. Let's make Tekken 6 so controversial that we'll have eachother biting our legs off.
Pretty nice looking but I still don't think i'll get it. For some reason the only fighting style series I've been able to get into was the "Street Fighter" series. The others I just got very bored of fast but I'm sure I'll rent this.
A lot of Tekken and PS3 haters in this thread. I think the Tekken Series is the best of them all and this is just an early build. What matters about the Tekken series is the gameplay, not the graphics.

I compleatly agree with you! I want this game to be the best that there ever was....but all I've seen was grapichal updates and new stages.....that's not what a next-gen Tekken should be like.
Ohh...and that caracter costumization is crap in my point of view. It takes the caracters identity away. I don't like it at all...remember back in the day when you where talking about a fighting game and you didn't remembered the fighters name that you played with. You just said....."You know...the guy with the brown pants and white shirts....the one that looks like Jackie Chan" Everyone knew what you where talking about.....but now....pffff.

You're not gonna get the game on the 20th.......it's only the shipping date. I know that because I got Sonic the Hedgehoge the same way....I tought that it'll came out on the 30th....insted it came out on the 1st. So whatever they write....ad a day to that!!

Hopefully the final product is much better than this. When vf5 was still in development for arcades, even early videos of it looks amazing. Though this, looks like its taking the route of doa4 and just making everything shinier to make you think there are added details. Still, i think its way too early for a new tekken anways. Heck t5 just came out 2 years ago. This game better not be rushed.

It's not running in High Def and it's really small. You can't see all the details in that little player.
