I just got 1 gig memory card for my psp, but I can't just drop the songs and pictures in to it. Do I have to do any conversions, and if I do than what software should I use.

You have to format your memory card first before you can downloud music. You can do this right on your psp

you dont need to convert mp3 (music) or jpeg (pics) you just have to put them in the right folder on your memory stick. since it's a new stick format it first so you'll have all the folders you need, then you can just drop songs and pics on it. You may want to resize you pics to fit the screen size of the PSP (480x272) and lower the bitrate of your mp3 to fit more of them on the psp.
