Hey dude, how about you give us some better reason to click your linky than to just say "It's about MAG"? You might find people will be more helpful if you don't post mysterious, cryptic, tripe.

What is mysterious about it? If you don't know what MAG is then fine, the game is nearly at its death with 600 players online (the lowest ever). The fan community decided to post an idea to sony website asking for a sequel...that's about it.

If you can support the idea and vote that's all i ask.

Your welcome and it's not like I hated MAG, it's just that there are so many shooter out on the market I never really had a chance to get into it. But for the sake of the Gaming community in general I don't have a problem supporting something like this.

Could you imagine a COD game petition....that would definitely let me know that the world is coming to an END!!!:lol:

i can respect that, but we're talking about fps here. chances of an new fps coming out that doesn't suck ********** are very slim. that is why this idead is thrown out there, a sequel to a working formula.

It was an exclusive ps3 title that thrashed everything when it first released (fps wise).

Mag ruined Zipper.... Too much money drained into a poorly executed game. I had a ton of friends that loved it, but I could never get into it. I thank this game for destroying one of my all time favorite game companies. Of course then again, my favorite online shooters of all time, the SOCOM series didnt have a good game from Zipper on the PS3 either, because 4 sucked. The only good Zipper inspired game this generation was SOCOM Confrontation made by Slant 6, which by the way about 1,500-2,000 people still play. Also, even though Socom Confrontation had a VERY rough launch that lasted a few months, it is still my favorite shooter on the PS3, however I played it out to the point of it not being a good experience for me anymore... well, that and the fact that EVERY SOCOM game eventually gets taken over by hackers, cheaters, and scrubs.

When I learned about Zipper making Mag I was actually mad that they were not making SOCOM 4, then when SOCOM IV released I look back and understand why one of the best developers of all time went under.

It's all because they sold out their fan base to generic gameplay and first person crap. They tried cashing in on the CoD craze and pissed off their fanbase, so if you want me to support that.... I think I'll pass. It' principle (I thought, until I learned SONY told them too), and Zipper got what they deserved although I was very sad when I heard the news...

By the way to everybody else out there that doesnt know, SONY recently announced that the SOCOM franchise was not done, and they think fans will finally be proud of the series once again in the near future. See, Zipper did not own the rights to SOCOM, which is a proven franchise, so hopefully fans will get remade HD collections with online support and a new SOCOM game that goes back to its roots a little bit instead of the over the shoulder view....

Mag may or may not be dead, but I would not expect to see another one, and it would really shock me if another one was made. However, I would take Mag servers for any online shooter though, because those were clutch and basically lag free.

Mag was a decent game.... unfortunately though it was made by the wrong company which was a lose lose situation for both SONY and Zipper. Then SONY cuts Zipper after they tell Zipper to make the game the way they made it.... So then my view changed from greedy Zipper to greedy SONY. So, Zipper gets its funding cut from SONY and files banktrupt because of SONY.... sigh, awesome...

So, who is to blame? Zipper or SONY? RIP Zipper I blame SONY.
