my ps4 its overheating how i can fix it

my ps4 after close the console have yellow light and and overheating i send the console on sony or i fix it on my self any solutions thanks

it still in warranty so get it fixed :S no point mucking around while it's still under the first year

tried looking for a usb fan that your ps4 can sit on to keep the system a bit cooler??

Get one of those duster spray cans you use to clean PC's to see if dust is clogging your system, if that doesn't work then hopefully you have a warranty on the PS4 to send it in.

16 Pounds, holy cow ! that´s really expensive ! you can get one of those for 40 Mexican Pesos here.

@raugutcon: not really that expensive in the uk when we think of it we think its quite cheep

Things you need to look for.

1. Are all sides of your ps4 open. Do you have anything against the ps4 blocking airflow?

2. Do you have it in closed cabinet?

3. The way the ps4 cools is it sucks air through the front and the sides and releases it in the back. Does it have proper air flow? Don't block the unit or put it in a closed environment.

Put your machine on a solid surface with good ventilation, and it should be fine. If it's not then call them and have them send you one or fix yours.

Take a photo of where exactly your PS4 is. Its easier to assist...and possibly eliminate certain personal/system errors.

Being saying it all along, ps4 is a mini grill and won't last more than 4 years.

you can't mine does the same thing I always turn it off when im done playing it, luckily I don't think its gonna die or anything but i never seen a console get this hot before and i own a lot of them from back to atari 5200

When you wander out of SW, check the topic date, the rest of GS doesnt get as much traffic.
