Ok my hdtv has 4 hdmi outlet but one day the tv went blank and say that the mode is not supported. So I switch to the 3 other outlet but now im down to my last hdmi outlet. Can someone give me any suggestion on this problem?

Have you tried holding down the standby button on the PS3 for 5-10 seconds until you hear two beeps? That could fix it.

This has happened to me a few times before. I turn off the power brick that has every plug in it (including the tv) and then turn it back on.

hold the power button on the ps3 for 10sec, this will reset the video settings, it sounds like you have your ps3 set to a resoultion your tv wont support.

When exactly does it give you the error message? The reason I ask is that my PS3 is set to always output Blu-ray film content at 24Hz for my bedroom TV, but if I forget to turn that mode off for the living room TV, then I will get an "Unsupported mode" message during Blu-ray playback.
