Killzone 2 Top 1% of the week..

Hi everyone. For those who have done this before how many hours did you spend to get in the top 1%? I'm trying to platinum killzone 2 but i have most of the online trophies left. I started playing again today but i was going to wait til the summer to get in the top 1%.

dang. I got the 10% one the first week the game came out.. I played like 25 hours..

20 hours for me to get in the top 1%..

I'm at 10% for trophies, I started playing a few days ago.

When I turned the game on after downloading the new maps I received the trophy for honor rank #1 and the trophy for honor rank #2. I don't know how it happened, but it did.Tikicobra

Just a guess but you probably placed in the required % for that week.

As for me I was actually planning on doing it this week but I got the YLOD, so idk when Im going to do it now.

I still haven't bothered trying to earn that trophy. Maybe I'll try later.

It all depends on how many people play that week and how well you do per game. I'd say getting 1000 points per day should do it. That was my strategy. I fell a bit shrot of it but still got 1% by a hair. (got in the cut by less than 50 ppl lol)Takiwara

sometime between 12pm and 6pm on sunday. You can check your rank in game, or on Killzone.com under leader boards. If you use the in game leader board, take your rank and divide by the number of pages + a zero at the end. If you use killzone.com take your rank and divide by the number of players.

I'll get all the single player trophies (only 3 left [yes I beat it on Elite :D]) but none of the online ones. I don't play online too much and if I do, it's Resistance 2.Chaos_Bladez

I'm only able to play a hour a day because i got a lot of other things to do, just make sure you get 6000 XP before the week ends and your definatly good. I got platinum not too long ago lol.

haha 1000 points a day...yeah i'm waiting til i have a free week in the summer after i beat infamous and e3 is over :p

I got the top 1% in the first week so it was probably a lot of time ha ha. It is tough but if you stick it out its not so bad. Good luck.

when i did it there were 46,000 pages for the week, at 10 people per page there were 460,000 players that week.. so i had to get in the top 4,600 which was extremely simple.. my buddy is trying to get it for this week (ends today) and he said there were only 20,000 pages.. so less people are playing (at least for this week).. so really if you are at least decent at the game, you should get it no problem.. putting in an hour or two a day everyday for the week should be more than enough to get it..

I don't understand how people can keep up with this. Trying to get that ahead everybody each week seems like to much work.K1LLR3175

I got the 1% trophy this week and I had about 7200 points. I was well into the top 1% though. With 6000 points you should get it.

I averaged about 1100 points a day, which took about 5 hours a day...but since I'm out of University right now I was able to get it done (finally).

i just achieved the 10% last week playing like hell (6-8hours per day) on just Saturday and sunday so if you played the whole week it would equate to 40 or 50 hours of play provided your doing quite good gamer26690

I don't see how people can stand to play it enough to get the trophy. The game is so unbalanced it's stupid. The most powerful weapon in the game is a pistol, seriously the best people I see now always use boost/pistol combo. It just makes me want to throw my controller out the window.Zoso-8

I don't remember, but it was a lot. I would think that 20 hours was a low estimate... and I barely scraped by at #3500 or so.

But I was also going for certain ribbons that adversely affected how many points I got, and really I'm not an A+ player either.

I'll say this right now, the DLC trophies DO NOT count for your other trophies for the platinum, don't worry about the cruiser and assault ones, just continue with the original trophies and you'll get platinum, i wanna get resistance 2 but it's gonna be possible with my schedule, same with dead space but the maxed out one is going to take forever. I stopped playing KZ2 but if anyone holler's i'll probably play.
