Why compare these games? At any rate, I highly doubt Silent Hills will be even close to matching The Last of Us's review scores if that's how you want to measure it as being "better".
No it wont touch it in terms of reviews and critical reception. I think it sure has the potential to be a better game though if the atmosphere in the PT demo is anything to go by.
Hopefully Silent Hills will be less cryptic than the PT demo though.
I think I enjoyed that P.T. trailer more than TLOU lol, yes it should bring Japanese horror back on the gaming map unless they overdo it. Kojima and del Toro will have to use good taste and restraint because between the two of them they might go too crazy. I think it will be an awesome game despite myself not being a big Norman Reedus fan, he seems to be a popular actor for most so the game will have a lot going for it. Kojima is the master of the mind fcuk so it should be a perfect match to horrify and disturb true horror game fans.
TLOU was linear, lacked action, lacked boss fights, lacked scares... it was more like a zombie mutant soap opera. Aside from those few shooting sections with human enemies TLOU was totally boring, a couple of clicker things, a few fat pollen spores fart mutants then it's all over.
Well.... i hope so, because that wiould be amazing but i think like soeone say before, they are 2 different games... i always, alwaaaaaaaaaaaays, give silent hill a try, just because i always hope they release a good one.
I played the last one...dont even remember the name... and at the beginning was good and i really hoped the best, but once the enemies came out and others stuff that make it unplayable... i was dissapointed
