I'm leaning towards purchasing a PS4 but the only thing holding me back is the uncertainty of the PS network. I owned a 360 last gen but the PS4 seems much more appealing and the majority of my friends have bought PS4's as well. Is it at east as good as Live on 360? Keep in mind I don't care for apps...More bout stability/voice chat etc. Thanks.

I have been using both services for years and can honestly say that PSN is evenly comparable to LIVE in general NOW. It wasn't always that way but the PSN has vastly improved since the service has started.

If Xbox Live is the gold standard for console online services then I'd say Sony is a solid 7.5

It's a downgrade for sure but it's not like you're going to get Wii U like results, it wont be garbage
