and I want to hook up 2 things that have HDMI input, what are my options?  Just switching them everytime I need to use the one I need at the time?  Or is there like a adaptor or switch or something that I can use?  Does anyone else out there have this problem?

Almost all new receivers feature HDMI switching as well as the fact that they take the uncompressed sound from the signal as well. This gives you an HDMI hub as well as the best audio possible.

What are the two things you are plugging in? They sell a HDMI port that has like 4 inputs.
