I have a 37inch 720p LCD TV, and I'm pretty sad that I wont be able to play the PS4 full resolution.

Should I buy another TV just for PS4 or should I just suck it because I wont be able to tell much of a difference?

What would you do in my choose?

just keep your 720p, but if you really want a 1080p tv go and buy, though you wont be able to tell much of a difference

It would be pretty hard not to tell a difference considering the jump to 1080P from 720P is just as big (if not bigger) than the jump from SD to HD.

I tend to agree with this theory.

@id_mew: If I was you I would get IPS monitor in 1080p. Cheaper than a tv. Faster response time and less input lag. Also, your gaming will improve on a monitor rather than a tv if you play FPS.

I would recommend getting a new TV prior to the PS4. Black Friday is right around the corner. Maybe have a look at the Samsung Smart TVs.

depends entirely on your viewing distance. When I get really into a game, I often plop down right in front of the set, and believe me, you can certainly tell. 12 feet away? Not so much.

I mean I would recommend a 1080p if possible. I feel like they've come down a lot in price. Come Black Friday, they'll be dirt butt.

You can buy a 42" 3D TV for less then a PS4 nowadays, if I were you I wouldn't worry much about it, but I would start looking around for deals, with black Friday coming up there will be plenty to chose from.
