How to track stolen PS3?

Today my step-brothers PS3 was stolen today and i was wondering if he could track it somehow.

If he knew who stole it i wouldnt be posting right now. He was out for an hour leaving the bathroom window open when he came back it was gone.

ummm, its quite obvious it was someone he knew that stole it...

i have my serial number so is there a way to track it with itveronicagirl28

If you/he registered it with Sony i think they can block it at best... Call the police they should find prints or something.
