I realize there is no storage chest, I am several hours into the game and now I cannot carry anything more. I know I can destroy things and sell to merchants, but what should I hang on to? How do people manage it?

There are weapons, but also a lot of random things like statues.

I've heard of people selling an item that is needed for a later quest.

Any advice or guidelines would be great. Loving the game, but the inventory is the one thing I need advice on.

@frankmcma: what i do is turn all my stuff in for monster research then sell my valuables. Take off enchantments then sell weapons and armor u dont use. You will always find better stuff. You can upgrade your max inventory with inquisition perks too. They should just add a deposit box tho.

What about rare stuff, which I think are blue or purple? Worth keeping?

And is there anything I need in a later quest? Just don't want to sell something I need to complete a quest.

I'll check out the perks.

I sell all armor and weapons that I am not using or I will give it to a companion if he or she can use it. Regardless of blue or purple, if I or a companion is not going to use it then why keep it?
