I have a bunch of games i don't need anymore. How much does gamestop pay for games? Also, do i need to have bought the games from Gamestop to begin with? Or are they ok if i got the games elsewhere?
Also, do they buy PS2 games? Thanks in advance

Gamestop will take games from anywhere and games in almost any condition. This includes PS2 games. ;)
I do not trade in games myself, so I can't offer and experience prices, but the highest I have seen Gamestop pay for a PSP game was $14 for Crisis Core, like a month after it's release. Older PSP games will get you probably a couple bucks, while a 2008 game might net you around $7. More popular games will get you more money, unless by 'popular', you mean Gamestop has tons of people trading in that title.
Good luck. ;)
a brand new realease on the Xbox 360 such as Madden 09 and GTA 4 will get you $25-$27 dollars. Basically, take the price of a new release game and divide it roughly by 3 for the PSP. So... I think they come out at like 39.99? A popular game will get like 13-15 dollars.
Thats a method I've developed over the years haha.
EDIT: Keep in mind this is for new releases, as time passes, the value decreases, particularly in sports games. Like if you tried to trade-in NCAA Football 05 I bet you'd get maybe a quarter. Hope this helps a little. I have no experience with PSP trade-ins but I do with 360 games.
