How do you know when the controller is fully charged?

the three bars don't necessarily mean the controller is FULLY charged. you have to wait till the 4 lights stop blinking (like mentioned above).

Hit the PS button. Look at the top right hand corner of your screen. See battery charge indicator. Three bars means full. ............. That's how you know. ;)Nephilim83

The LED will stop flashing and stay on red.

You have to press the ps button with the controller plugged in through usb. If the light is blinking on the top then it's still not charged. If it is solid then it is.

As you know, when the controller is charging the light on it will flash. When it is fully charged it won't flash anymore.
