I have mine connected via a USB cable but the PS3 tells me it's not there

I go into settings

Then into accessory settings

Then into Camera device

But then it tells me no device is found????

I have the camera on

It's connected to USB port properly (NOT THE SAME ONE AS THESIXAXIS)

But I'm still getting no joy

Can anybody help me?

What kind of camera? I just use the SD slot thow most of the time. But think of it this way. Most digital cams you cant just plug into your PC without some crazy software. So your better off with just using the cards.

I need to connect the camera because I want to use it for editing kits/uniforms on PES2008. In the game it won't read from a memory stick or flash drive.

When Ingointo editing mode (in the game)

It tells me the camera isn't connected properly

If you select the load option (i presumed this ment from a memory stick or as USB flash device)is tells me there is no saved data?????????

If anybody else has any ideas I'd really appreciate your help:)

Hugh. I never try to plug mine strait in, so I dont know. If I do somthing major, my Brother in law does it via his set up. Im clueless on that thow, its a full studio. I just tell him what to do with stuff. But on the PS3, I just take the cards out of the camera.

This is stuff you need to tell Sony so they can have these in their updates. After all thats the great thing about these machines. Is those things are easy fixes. But they need to know these things also.

Take the memory card out of your camera, open the hatch on front of PS3, put memory card in appropriate slot. Now your ps3 should read your memory card so you can load up all your pics on your ps3 and save them to hardrive if you wish. Back when I got my PS3 I must've gone about a week or so without even noticing that the front panel opens up to reveal memory card slots.
