hmm. On the monitor when you turn your ps3 on are u getting the picture of your computer (like is it on) or just nothing at all? if nothing at all then most likely your PS3 is just still set in a different video setting. I haven't told anyone this in a while so i can't exactly remember how to do (someone please add to this) but i believe u turn your ps3 off, then turn it on (using the power button) but keep holding down the power button till you hear i think 3 beeps. This should cause your ps3 to autodetect the video settings. Not sure if that is the exact way to do it but it probably is somewhere in the manual. Sorry i couldnt help much and merry jollydays xD

hmm is there a button somewhere on the monitor that allows you to switch between the signals? you normally just press that and it will go from analog to digital (if your ps3 is on)
