Ok so basically I have a PS3 and I love it.  I don't, however, have an HDTV.  I have two old outdated TV's that give me this annoying hum when I use my ps3 and sometimes the screen will split into two and I can't tell what I'm doing.

Extremely annoying, not to mention the quality is not near as good as HDTV.

So basically I have a few questions and was wondering what everyone would do in my situation.

First of all is there anyway to fix the hum problem and/or the screen split problem?  Next, would you just continue using the TV or try to save up as much money as possible and get an HDTV asap?  Or should I try to rig up a way to play the PS3 through my computer monitor?
