We have a hd tv its a sony one itsa xbr trintron it can support 1080 i and p (we bought it 2-3 years ago for $4000 but they discontinued making it cause it was to expensive for a 36 inch tv) anyways i cant play my games on this tv because someones always watching it so i have a non hd tv to play a ps3 on. Actually i can play on it when no ones home but anyways do i need to buy a hdmi cable to play on hd or is a s video cable enough.haseeb_1989You got a 4,000 dollar 36inch tv, WTF

HDMI is High defenition. A hint when buying one: look for one that's cheap, between $20-$10. if you get one that costs like $60, alll i'm gonna say is bad deal. all HDMI cables are the same. Note: 4000$? My 42" HDTV cost about 1000$ for 1080i, and I saw a 50" Full 1080p for about 2000$
