not til guitar hero 3 (or w/e they want to call it). its just not worth it for them to upport this game yet again, due to the tiny userbase that already has access to it.
I'm sure it's comming, they're making Guitar hero for almost every other platform including the DS. I assume the major issue will be the fact thaty they have to build yet another console specific controller like the 360 version or the second, wireless, controller for the PS2. Before they made this one they seemed to suggest the biggest hurdle behind making more controllers was the cost involved. this was while they only made the PS2 version and people were asking about different guitar models.
If the company being bought out by Activision means anything it's that they now have someone who'll put out the cash for extra stuff like this.
It's either that or create a solution for the PS2 controller to be able to continue being used via USB or bluetooth adaptor.
It's not nearly as easy thus nullifying fun factor unless it's truly your goal to learn to play guitar. I've tried to learn it, I failed miserably, Guitar Hero is about as close as I'm going to get.
